His name is Sam and although he looks menacing he's a safe distance thanks to a telephoto lens. Sam lives in West Yellowstone,Montana but is originally from Alaska. He was orphaned and came to close to humans while trying to find food. He lives at the Grizzly &Wolf Discovery Center.

He's beautiful, although I wouldn't want to meet him out in the wild

I would actually prefer to see him in the wild instead of an enclosure. Grant it it is a large area but nothing compared to what he should be able to roam. People always seem to screw things up for the animals. At least this ace take them in instead of euthanizing them.
