Going back into the hdd for some sorting and came across some shots of courgette flowers, which are edible as well as the veg they produce, Bonus !
Very nice when stuffed with soft cheese then dip in a tempura batter and fried ;-)
Anywho ! I grew these from seed, with the amount of courgettes you get from one plant, I usually stick to about three or four plants in a staggered sowing plan, about ten days or just as the seed leaves break the surface then sow the next, this helps to prevent a glut if sown all at once, I mean there are only so many ways to eat them without going over the top ! ;-)
