This is from my first excursion up to Craggy gardens at night to shoot stars. It's about 5,700 feet in elevation, with low light pollution.. The hill in the distance is Craggy Pinnacle. I had as much fun just being out in the dark-quiet as I did shooting. There were just a few bats whizzing by, and very little traffic. Even if you're not shooting, it's great to get under the stars and just get awed.
