I went to the town of Brevard, NC to photograph some white squirrels, but it was raining, so I headed up 276 through the Pisgah National Forest, and stopped at a few overlooks. At the top most campground, I found a bunch of these flowers, with a few bees working them over. So I used my pop up flash and tried to freeze one without getting stung.
