We went on a three week trip all across North America. We had a list of places to go and see and somehow, we ended up off of the interstate and on some back highways in the Western USA. The lands we're scarred from a recent forest fire, but we kept going forward, just seeing where the road would take us. It took us to Crater Lake National Park in Oregon. We'd never heard of it before we got there, but, my God, what an amazing place! Blue water like we've never seen before in a lake, craggy cliffsides leading down to the water all surrounded by a landscape where few animals and little vegetation grew. I stepped as close to the edge as I dared and took one of my this panoramic shot of this amazing place.
