This picture looks very familiar. Did you take it at Hopi Point? By the way weren't you my upstairs neighbor?
Great shot!

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Hopi Point, at the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim

Time

At sunset, during my sunset tour I was conducting.

Lighting

Just noticed how the sunbeams were going down into the canyon, and took the shot. At sunset, the canyon takes on blue and frey hues as the shadows grow within the canyon.

Equipment

Olympus Point and Shoot. This was a time when I was just learning my love of photography, and most all my pictures ar this time were taken with my cell phone or the Olympus camera.

Inspiration

The shadows and sunbeams

Editing

No...and I do little of it still today.

In my camera bag

Canon Rebel T-6, with the kit lenses, extra batteries and SD cards, remote shutter, cleaning cloth, the user manual.

Feedback

Have patience for that perfect shot, timing is key. 10 minutes can create huge changes in lighting and colors.
