Location
This Image was captured whilst my wife and were traveling to the US (LA, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas). And we stopped of at the historic Seligman (Arizona), on our way to Vegas. Seligman is famous for being the birthplace of the Historic Route 66. A must for photographers as the town is strewn with Americana artifacts.Time
Roughly about 1300 Local time. Not my favoured time to photography. But on this ocassion worked out quite well.Lighting
As mentioned I guess the high key light quite helped in this occasion. I love hove the light as reflevted from the beige tones from the arrid enviroment.Equipment
Canon EOS 7D MKII, Canon EF 24-70mm L Series Lens.Inspiration
I loved the overall vibe of the town, and the rust hues and vibrant greens of the car complimented the arrid sandy road.Editing
For some reason I wanted to try a very subtle Tilt/Shift effect. As it stirs childhood memories of playing with toy cars.In my camera bag
I always carry my go to 24-70mm lens. So versitle!!, Canon 7D MKII, Miops trigger and 3 Legged things "Leo Tripod". Also my hoya 10stop ND Filter.Feedback
Just one simple advice... keep your eyes open. I have always been a bit of a daydreamer. Which helps as a photographer IMO. It gives me a little foresight of how I would like a photograph to look during post!! Oh of course... patience!!
