I found this old Shay logging engine somewhere off the freeway north of Seattle, Washington. It looked like it was waiting its turn for restoration. I was hanging on a fence in the rain to get this shot. Wish I know more about it.

Yes, saw it on the way back from the Falls. Several engines there but fenced off.

wow, this one is old, and to see all the rust and the moss growing !! One day the forest may engulf her - at least that often happened over the last 100 years....we will have to let the History Books tell the tale now.
