These are petals from a dahlia from the garden. The right half of the heart is intact. I took a petal that matched the right half, removed it and replaced it in a position to make the left half of the heart. I shot it from f4 to f20, but liked the shallow depth of field better. I shot it with a T-S lens which allowed an even more selective focus.

This image was made on a light box with supplemental light from an LED bank. The background is from Topaz Textures.

There were no crowds and this gorilla was interested in my telephoto lens, watching carefully as he ate.
