It had snowed heavily on the Jaunsar range in Uttarakhand India through the night and the morning had brought little respite, so I decided to walk through the snow , having borrowed an umbrella from the housekeeping staff. As I crunched through the fresh snow I came upon this lonely lady hooping softly as she tried to get her young one to return to her. The look of concern , so universal to all mothers , made me click her. Had to miss out on the young one as he was not confident of my peaceful intent. Love the moss on the tree trunk.
