This is from last nights sunset above Ashland. I knew the horizon was empty to the west and we had just a handful of cool clouds above us. They slowly started drifting east and my original comp and idea went bye-bye.
So I sort of chased this cloud and came up with a comp to be able to capture it and a bit of the low light sun.
The cloud REALLY lit up red later, but I liked the sidelight brushing over the mountain nook I was on better than the sky light tbh. There was a bit of red coming through already on this one, so here it is.
3x Focus stack + sky image. f11 @ 15mm on my Nikon D600.
