This was a most excellent night. When we got there and I saw it was possibly going to be clear enough for some nightscapes I sat down with my tablet and planned the night using PlanIt! Pro app... five scenes from dusk 'til dawn with some naps between.
First stop was to roll out onto the beach after dinner for a resort shot. That one kinda got slightly hijacked, a bunch of keen characters from Shenzhen had me get a selfie with them around the campfire. They were really enthusiastic and then busted out with swathes of carbon tripodage, D5's, A7Rii's etc... diurnal gear it seemed because there were a lot of questions. Sat around the camp fire, some yarns, exchanged emails, they were taking part in a Chinese guided photography tour group, two big buses full.

Eventually I got around to capturing this famous north view from Dolomite Point.
