Dear Amanda: Thanks for commenting. Seeing the people planting or cutting rice is an inspiration. For them rice is the milk and honey of everyday eating. It is a staple eaten about three times a day. :) :)

Dear Iani: The people in this photograph are definitely working hard, planting and/or harvesting rice is backbreaking labor in heat and rain. I don't envy them! Thanks for commenting, great hearing from you!

Dear Jean Luc: There are some terrible jobs in the world: coal miner, chicken plucker and planting rice. It is, indeed, back breaking work in hot, rainy weather. I don't know how they can do it. Thanks for comment. This evening I take train from Krakow to Vienna. :) :)
