Behind The Lens

Location

Rainbow Beach, Queensland

Time

This was around 10am, just before the Queensland heat hit us, I was with my friends with and her mother in law we got to the beach. We were walking around talking some photos on the Sunshine Coast.

Lighting

Just used the natural light.

Equipment

Canon 700D, 75-150mm kit lens.

Inspiration

As we were walking around towards the monuments away from the beach, I saw the bird in the tree and I started shooting. I love taking photos of animals including birds and I was lucky enough to capture this one.

Editing

Nothing more then a bit of cropping.

In my camera bag

I usually have my Macro lens and my 75-150mm lens along with my flash, when I’m doing sports photography I have my 150-600mm lens too.

Feedback

Just grab your camera and go out shooting in nature, you’re always going to find something good to shoot somewhere out there. I’d drop down the shutter speed for any landscape photos you’re looking at. I’d only up it if you’re targets are moving. Also keep an eye on the light and don’t ever shoot into the sun. Try and make sure you know where the sun is if it’s out.
