Tomatoes are my absolute favourite food and this photo makes me happy and hungry! The red is so vibrant, but I wonder why you didn't add in a more colourful background or a contrasting cold tone such as blue or green though?

thanks for your comment - firstly they are actually redcurrants ! And secondly I felt that the simplicity of the white works far better than a coloured background.
