Location
The photo was taken at the zoo of Luján, Buenos Aires, Argentina.Time
I remember my enthusiasm when visiting any zoo, mainly this one where we can approach the animals more than usual. It was just after my lunch around 14.00h.Lighting
At that time of the day, the light is usually good to enhance the colors of the animals. This one is colorful and I tried that it was positioned in a place of its cage with no shadows.Equipment
I used my older camera OLYMPUS model VG160,X990,D745 without flash, tripod or other-Inspiration
Besides my love for Nature in general, the colorful animals called my attention more than others. This toucan was like posing for the photos, quiet and nice.Editing
I do not use to do many post-processings, unless resizing and/or enhancing the colors or contrast, which was this case.In my camera bag
As an amateur, I always take with me my new mobile Sony E5603, a Canon compact camera Powershot SX710 HS, my older camera Olympus VG-160, some extra batteries and, sometimes a small tripod.Feedback
As I said herebelow, the light is most important for capturing photos. I do not have expertise in photography but feel if it's good or not by looking to the object in different positions. In this case, if there were some shadows of the case over the toucan, the colors would be different.
