I know nothing about horses but I have family in The Netherlands who are always in competitions and what not so I see their pictures on Facebook. This horse too looks gorgeous but he has a short tail no? Just wondering. Very beautiful.

Thanks Wilma! I'm not sure but now that you mention it the tail does appear to be shorter than usual. A beautiful horse with a very skilled rider. Love watching them glide around the dressage arena.

I love the expression of horse and rider. Very composed, nice canter. I take it that pair is about to do a circle. Re: Short tail ? Maybe it is a mare with foal. Sometimes the foals are 'eating' moma's tail. Speculation/experience of mine. lol
