Her. This is my precious niece, and she's all girl, sweet, just lovely. This photo really conveys her as I see her. The tulle was actually pink, but her favorite color is yellow, so I changed colors in post for the golden color to accent her red hair.Editing
Yes. I changed the color of the tulle, her shirt, and flowers to golden instead of pink. I then changed the foliage from green and bright yellow to an ambery orange to reflect her hair color through the image.In my camera bag

Kids can be little posers and make some silly faces sometimes. When they get excited, be sure to control the tempo. Just talk softly, tell them we're going to play a little game of make believe. I say, "Shut your eyes, like you're sleeping, and you're dreaming of ____________." (insert something you know they like and be really descriptive). Keep shooting through that, and then tell them to open their eyes when you say three, and then count. Be sure to have that shutter ready to go on 3, as soon as they do open their eyes. This series normally produces great images for me, no posey poses, no "say cheese" smiles, just them being them, envisioning something special to them.
