Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in the front flower bed of the home we were living in at the time.

Time

mid morning the sun was on the back side of the house

Lighting

it was all natural light

Equipment

I used a nikon d 3100 18-55 nikon kit lens

Inspiration

I saw the blooms and the shape and the way they were set on the stem attracted me

Editing

Yes at the time I was just starting to play with light room so I increased the shadows and the blacks which made the brick wall of the house turn to black, which made the blooms stand out (in my opinion)

In my camera bag

I have a nikon d7500, 18-55,50mm 1.8, 55-200

Feedback

I don't feel that I have the expertise that I would like to too give advice . Having said that I think just keep shooting , keep learning , keep an open mind.
