Location
This photo was taken in the park across the road from where I live, it offers a great range of subjects to practice photographing and this one particular day I was lucky enough to spot a ladybug.Time
it was taken mid morning, the day was overcast and it was pretty windy too, I had one hand on the branch in order to limit movement and took the photo with the other hand, the ladybug didn't stop moving either, I was surprised that it didn't fly off, I was very lucky.Lighting
I already had my white balance set to cloudy and my settings how I wanted them for a cloudy day, so the lighting dandy really effect the photo.Equipment
At the time I was using a Nikon Coolpix L820 which I am unable to change the lens on, so no other equipment was involved.Inspiration
I like to shoot as many different subjects as possible in order to learn more about photography, seeing a ladybug is a rarity for me so I was so exited to get the chance to photograph it in as many ways as possible.Editing
My camera only shoots jpeg rather than raw and I have no knowledge or skills or knowledge in photoshop so most of my photos are not post processed at all.In my camera bag
I normally like to carry my Nikon Coolpix L820, my Nikon D5600 and the 18-55mm lens that it came with. from time to time I'll have my tripod but other than that I don't really carry any other equipment.Feedback
Go some where you normally don't, and look for the small details an insect, some twigs while taking as many different photos with slight variations, it's a great way to learn, and get an understanding of your camera, you can still capture something great when the weather says otherwise and also, getting help from the work around you is a great way to get good photos, your camera limits you less than you think.
