I drove 15 hours in one day to get here, but arrived too late for sunset. After driving around a bit of Washington and Oregon the next day, I came back to the falls in time for sunset. It was drizzly and dreary, but the rain stopped right at sunset, leaving behind a gorgeous flaming rainbow and cliffs. The long hours of driving was worth it!
