Getting off the National Route 1 in Iceland is a must when exploring the country, as you can explore gems like Berufjörður Waterfall.
The road upon which you need to take to access this waterfall was enshrouded in the thickest fog I had ever seen in my life and with no barriers and cliffs on either side of the road. I cautiously made my way along the road before the fog miraculously lifted, revealing this stunning waterfall and the valley below.
