On a stunning clear and very cold night up in the Australian Alpine region (Mt Buffalo National Park) I set out to capture the night sky.
Much of the trees within this region look like this, dead or dying, and I positioned the camera so that I would have the milk way core rising above this tree. This is a vertical panorama of 12 shots stitched together in PTGui and edited in Photoshop using Nik plugins.
