Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in a field just before a museum on Long Island. I saw the daffodil and took a few photos of it. Then randomly a bee came and flew on top of the daffodil as if it wanted it's photo to be taken, so I took it. I had one shot to get it right because it flew away as soon as I pressed the shutter.Time
This happened around 3/4pm in the afternoon. It was a beautiful day outside, mid 80 degrees, no clouds. Truly a beautiful day.Lighting
Natural light, nothing too spectacular!Equipment
I used a Canon t6i for this photo with the regular 18-55 f3.5 variable lens.Inspiration
I wanted to capture bright colors and the bee happened to land on the flower!Editing
Very little. I just adjusted the colors to have the yellow pop a little more and to make the image a touch brighter. In my camera bag
Now I carry a Sony a6300 with about 4-5 different lenses, and two sets of lights(Godox v860ii and Rotolight Neo 2).Feedback
Be patience and don't be scared of bees! They are harmless!
