Congratulations on winning the Zoom Challenge! Technically and artistically your photo pulled out in front of some of my other favorites! The coloring is wonderful and the shadows add to the image rather than subtract! I love how sharp and crisp this photo is and how the pink and black offset each other! Well done!

I took this photo at the Audubon Nature Institute in New Orleans, LA. What made this visit so special was how it came about. It was my son's last few days of spring break for his junior year of high school. He told his dad he had heard me mention wanting to go here with my camera & suggested that they take me. He cares nothing whatsoever about visiting a zoo but he cares about his mom. I am blessed.Time

My inspiration for this photo is nothing more and nothing less than the beauty of God's creation. When I pick up my camera, I ask the Lord to show me His glory & He does.Editing
I did a minimal amount of post processing to this image. I added a little contrast, clarity and noise reduction.In my camera bag
My camera has an incredible leica lens and I therefore use it exclusively. All I carry in my bag is my camera, a couple of extra batteries & SDHC cards, a lens cleaning cloth & my wireless shutter release.Feedback
I am a beginner who is still has a great deal to learn about photography. My advice on capturing a similar image is to fall in love with this amazing world God has created. I shot this photo in auto mode!
