Walking thru many parks in New Zealand and came across this mirror lake at Ivor Wilson Park just as the sun was about to go down. It was just me, my significant other and the serenity.

Location
This was taken at Ivor Wilson Reserve in Te Anau New Zealand. New Zealand has so many parks and this was one of many that we visited. This is Lake Henry.Time
Almost dusk.Lighting
I think you get the most mysterious shots really early or late during the day when the sun is lower and you get all these wonderful colors and composition in pictures.Equipment
My husband and I were just taking a walk so I had only my iPhone with me. So that’s what I shot with.Inspiration
Unexpectedly, walked up to the lake and this stunning view with the fall tree colors reflecting on the water- nature at its best.Editing
None at all. Perfect natural composition: time of day and time of year.In my camera bag
I just use my LUMIX with 60x zoom since it’s also like a binoculars for me and my iPhone.Feedback
I think it’s great when you can manipulate images and create art when the subject may not be as awesome but when you get something real that looks like art without any editing, how amazing. I think lighting is most important, so dust or dawn is the best time to capture stunning.
