While picking wild blackberries in the Sierra Nevada, watch out for bears (who like to eat them too), rattlesnakes (hide in the rocks) AND piles and piles of ladybugs (try not to step on them). FYI: don't be fooled by cute spots, these little guys can deliver a bite that will make you sit up and take notice!
