Discovered a Northern Pacific rattlesnake (Crotalus oreganus oreganus) on a stump near our cabin at Huntington Lake, CA. I love rattlers, so took lots of photos before relocating it elsewhere. Olympus point n shoot and didn't use zoom - just enjoyed getting close to one of my favorite reptiles!
