Mid day on the Turnagain Arm at Bird Point near Girdwood Alaska in the Winter.

This is another example of the sweet light that you're able to get on the short Alaska winter days. This was taken at 1:30 in the afternoon. The sunrise lasts until noon when the sunset starts.

It was very cold that day and the mist in the photo was actually frozen ice crystals that were like snow falling from a clear sky.

I'm anxious to return.
