What kind of a mood is your photo in?
When we think of what makes a photo special the concept of a connection being made between it and a viewer is explained. The connection usually evokes a feeling or an emotion inside of the person. One may ask how they can create a photo that will make someone feel emotion. I feel that we can convey these feelings through the mood of your photo. These moods coincide with human emotions such as happiness or sadness and everything in between.
All forms of photography, be it street photography, landscape photography or even studio work can represent a mood or a feeling and convey it to the viewer.
In landscape photography that emotion or feeling typically involves the variable conditions of Nature. Nature doesn't act, nor is it disingenuous in its moods. It is what it is when it is and if you're not there at that moment you are out of luck. I love Nature in all of her moods, but I think that she's the most beautiful when she's in a brooding. When she's not happy, but not angry, but somewhere in between.
This is one of those brooding moments when Mother Nature decided to put on a show of emotion.
