Branching--The Young ones, strengthen there wings. I Must shoot after Sunset before they become active, Therefore High ISO, No flashing Wild Animals. There Big step is to FLY to Mom and Dad to be Fed and taught how to Capture, Breakfast. Flashing would only altar the natural Order. Some try, and do flash, Most Photogs as myself, Let it be known this is Wrong.Invasive and to be honest, Greedy to believe a Human has power over any Wild Animal. I could Rant away regarding Habitat Loss, due to Greed, .Politics asside, Respect MOTHER NATURE for who she is.Happy Clicking :)

Good affirmation of what should be common knowledge among photographers....RESPECT for nature in every manner. Truly a great capture of this teenager

I have only used a flash totally accidentally and luckily that was with human not animal or bird - but then I don't really like photographing humans (other than the birth of grand-daughter last Saturday :) )

Already looking so wise, despite his youth. Gorgeous capture, Doug! (And for the record, have never used a flash around a wild animal!)

So glad that you didn't use a flash on this:) You did use great ISO. I never use a flash when photographing any animal wild or even domestic:) Great detail & composition!
