"Lumino"

Garin Regional Park, East Bay.

Continuing the mantra of #shootlocal , another take from the green hills of California, just 5mins from my home. While hiking through this park (which also sits on a local rancher's property), I kept encountering the same herd of cows. For some reason they would also end up blocking my trail access. I tried making loud noises and clapping but they didn't move and just stared at me. I just hiked around them and went on my way. I didn't want to be stampede by a herd getting a photo.

For this shot, it was late afternoon light just illuminating the green grass. It was definitely something I wanted to highlight in the photo. The fallen and twisting branches provides a nice web framework throughout.
