I can't tell who's leaning here. Some of these buildings are just classics and deserve to be recognized for what they represent. As a newcomer maybe some of these landmarks stick out a bit more, but newcomer or not, my eye simply cannot be as poor as to be starstruck by superficial qualities. There are several blocks with buildings as unique and interesting as this, makes for a very pleasant and enjoyable afternoon stroll. Small businesses still flourish and the character of the owners nearly matches that of the buildings they occupy. Not a fast food chain or Starbucks in this downtown, that should say it all....
