I love old structures. I like to walk through them, letting them tell me the stories of old times. Sometimes I just remain quiet and snap a photo. I am an amateur photo enthusiast and I love the outdoors. This building is in Antigua Guatemala, and it has been there for about 500 years. Palacio de los Capitanes Generales was built as a Palace for the Viceroy of the Spanish Central American colonies as their headquarters. What I saw in this still moment was modern-present day people walking the same halls of the envoys of the King of ancient times. If you were to take the people of today and dress them up in clothes 500 years ago, you would probably find exuberant garments and a slower pace than what you see here.Time
I had just had breakfast and I was walking around 9:00 am in the morning.Lighting
Actually I wanted the pillars and the floor to have a contrast, not that I know much about it but I wanted the old times to pop up.Equipment

My only inspiration in photos is to capture the moment less expected as I am not in any way a pro.Editing

Just a camera and a couple of lenses.Feedback
I would say take pictures that are natural. What I mean by that is: Don't put it in your mind and then set it up. Why not? You have robbed yourself of a precious moment which is now. Now is what is important and the present changes and it only changes to get better, regardless of what shows up.
