We're living at the Nootka Lightstation, which is actually on tiny San Rafael Island but connected to Nootka Island (unless it's a very high tide). We've heard wolves in years past and we met one on the beach a couple miles away a few years ago but this was the first time we had them on San Rafael. There were four of them all together but I was shooting quickly, not sure how long they'd hang around (and, for the sake of our dogs, not wanting them to hang around too long!) so I just have two here.
