After a very wet afternoon exploring the Pembrokeshire coast, I was feeling downhearted and very sorry for myself. I walked for hours and the weather was howling, every time I saw something with potential, I would set up to find conditions had changed or the shot didn't work - Bugger!
On my way back to the warm sanctuary of my car, I ventured down to the little beach called Porthmeigan. The sky was starting to break up and after 20 minutes of searching for a composition I like (I would have settled for anything at this stage), I managed to capture this.
The beach is beautiful with the foamy tide which stays shallow, allowing it to run up without worrying about losing kit. Some lovely colour finally broke through - definitely worth the wait. Lesson learned: Do not trust the weatherman, he is evil!
