I love the blue with the little bits of contrasting yellow and green

Behind The Lens

Location

Welland Canal - one of the train bridges, but this one is abandoned.

Time

Around 4 pm when the sun was setting (winter hours).

Lighting

That golden hour or blue hour, when the sun is either coming up or going down - seems to cast that amazing heavenly light, perfect for taking great pics.

Equipment

Nikon D5200

Inspiration

I enjoy taking photos of bridge structures, especially because there are quite a few in Niagara region of Ontario that are remarkably interesting in architectural features.

Editing

Photoshop enhancements

In my camera bag

Extra batteries & something to snack on.

Feedback

Try different angles when shooting bridges. Sometimes just shooting the bolts on a steel beam angled in different ways can create interesting pics.
