I was heading to or from Lake Tahoe with with a small group of people from church.Time
I like this photo a lot becuase of the layers of the sky, mountains, trees and snow on the ground. I took this in the afternoon at 3:16 pm.Lighting
The only thing I want to say about the lighting is that I really like how the light bounces off the snow and trees.Equipment
I just used my cell phone which was a Samsong G5.Inspiration
Seeing that natural light and the bright colors were amazing, I just had to take a picture. I also knew that I would like to use this picture for many types of photo challenges and contests.Editing
I did not do any post-processing.In my camera bag
I don't really have a bag per se. I have a camara and a bigger lens.Feedback
I love how the sky is half the picture and the other half is the mountains and snow. Taking this picture is easy even if you are in a moving car. The only thing that needs to be said is that you have to look ahead of where your going and be patient. When you look ahead, you can see and plan what you may want to capture. You need to be patient and not hurry on the subject and sometimes the timing. For example, if you want to take a picture of the sky with clouds or a rainbow but there are trees or other things in the way, you should wait and look ahead to see when and if you can take the picture you want.
