Location
This photo was taken at the old Clifton Springs Pier, Victoria AustraliaTime
This was taken 18th February 2017 at 6.20 pm, this was before our late summer sunset and a rain shower had just passed over-head.Lighting
I wasn't going to get much colour in the sunset due to bands of light rain showers, so took a few long exposure shots between the breaks of rain and was lucky with a bit of blue sky popping through.Equipment
Taken with Canon 5D Mark IV with EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, using tripod and Soft Grad filterInspiration
I liked the leading lines, helping to draw the attention into the photo. I'm inspired by taking Seascape long exposures.Editing
I shoot in RAW and do minor adjustments in Lightroom, with the Highlights and Shadows, and a little Vibrancy. In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mark IV, 16-35mm f/2.8L II, 70-200mm f/2.8L II and 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L II, Haida 150 Series Grad and ND filters, spare batteries, CF & SD cards.Feedback
My aim with this was to have a lower perspective, so I set the camera on the tripod just above the water. I feel this helps draw the viewer in more.
