Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in my basement and there was about 2 hours of setup time.

Time

No idea what time of day this was.

Lighting

Guitars were hung up with fishing line with a mattress underneath in case the strings broke. Very long exposure to paint the guitars with light and when that was done I filled the area with smoke then fires the flashes. More than 20 shots were taken before I ended up with this one.

Equipment

Nikon D70, 2 speedlites with color gels and a smoke machine. Used a pen light so the guitars could be seen.

Inspiration

Was doing a project on several different guitars and this one I just thought of in my head.

Editing

Only post-processing that was done was just a tiny bit of sting was showing that I erased out.
