Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on my kitchen table,

Time

the photo was taken on a dark evening, to have a dark environment so there would be no problem with the whitebalance.

Lighting

The lighting was quite easy, just my flash straight up to the white ceeling. With the white table surface there was enough reflection to get a good lighting.

Equipment

A nikon D90 with a sigma 24/70 f2.8 and a old nikon SB20 speedlicht

Inspiration

an image I saw online taken through a lens, at first I didn't realy understood the pic but ut gave me a this idea

Editing

This one is not realy processed just the regular stuf for a raw-image, like contrast.

In my camera bag

Concert photography and sports are my main interest. My bag is filled with a Nikon D700 a tamron 70-200 f2.8, a sigma 24-70 f2.8, a nikkor 50 f1.8D and a nissin speedlight I rarely use.

Feedback

This pic was a try out to get to https://www.viewbug.com/photo/72356512 that pic is for me the perfect version. For this pic the FT3 and the lens were placed on a frosted glass plate with a flashlight under the plate flashing to the back an other flashlight lighting the white background wall and a flashlight oncamera flashing straight up to the white ceeling. In the 50mm lens the image was focussed and with the camera I focused on that sharp image. The edge of the glass plate was photoshopped what gives the lens a floating feeling.
