Behind The Lens

Location

The royal circus in Brussels, a nice small venue with a history

Time

Isn't relevant

Lighting

Live music photography is a special branch in photography. Your 'model' does wat he/she wants and the man behind the mixing table has control over the light, so you have to be alert and ready for the moment.

Equipment

A nikon d700 with a 80-200 nikkor f 2.8

Inspiration

I love live music but I can't play any, with photography I found my way to be part of the music culture

Editing

I shoot raw, so there is some post-processing, but mostly small adjustments. I don't like the processing so I don't do a lot of touching up the Pic has to be good from the beginning

In my camera bag

D700, a Tamron 70-200 f 2.8 and a old sigma 24-70 f2.8

Feedback

Be prepared and know your equipment
