Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in my girlfriends front garden in lowestoft suffolk

Time

It was about 11 am. I was waiting for my partner to get ready as we were going out to to relieve the boredom I popped out to the front garden with my camera

Lighting

This was just pure natural light. Nothing added nothing taken away

Equipment

Canon 70d and canon 100mm f2.8L macro lens

Inspiration

I had only just bought this dedicated macro lens a few days before but hadn't had the chance to use it so while my partner was getting ready I took the opportunity to try it out

Editing

Absolutely no post processing though I may have just cropped it slightly

In my camera bag

Canon 70d Canon 28 - 105mm f4L Canon 70 - 200mm f4L Canon 100mm f2.8L Canon 10 - 18mm Canon 1.4 extender Speedlite 550ez Ring flash Loads of filters Couple of reflectors Home made camera bean bag

Feedback

I was lucky with the light and weather but normally I would use a reflector to either bounce some light back in or even use the reflector as a wind break if it was windy. The slightest wind will disturb a dandelion.
