Yellow Loosestrife (Lysimachia vulgaris)

For just a day the landscape was adorned with frost, and everything had a touch of magic. Prior to this day the fog had simply made everything dull, grey and wet.

But when the temperature dropped slightly below freezing, this fog was the source of magic, painted with the air as brush.

This is facing north, and Oslo is behind the upper parts of these perennials of last year.

A day later and most of the frost had returned to a watery state.
