Location
The photo was taken during a snow storm on a rooftop somewhere in Ottawa, Ontario CanadaTime
I work as a Telecommunication Technician, I am always working on the field. Two stuff which are always in my car is my tool bag and my camera bag. We had a tight schedule the day the photo was taken, so even on a snow storm, we have to finish the job. There were moments when the snow storm stops and that was also one of the moment I took this photo. It was around 4 pm in the afternoonLighting
There were something strange about the sky that day. The cloud was bright during the snow storm. I waited until the houses lights lit up to give the scene a feel of warmth.Equipment
my gears was Nikon D810 with Nikkor 16-35 F4 lensInspiration
In my profession, I am always in the field. I always bring my camera for moments like this. It was my first year in Canada and was excited taking pictures of landscapes covered in snow.Editing
I did post processing with this photo. I desaturared all the colors except yellow, orange and red. Pull the contrast of yellow, orange and red. Then change the temperature around 4500KIn my camera bag
I always carry my D810 as primary camera and a D7000 as back up. I also have in my bag a 16 - 35 F4, Tokina 11 - 16 2.8, Nikkor 24 - 70 2.8 and a 50mm 1.8 prime lensFeedback
