Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in our backyard.

Time

I shot this around 2:30 pm

Lighting

I shot in the shade with a tiny bit of natural sunlight .. just enough to "light" the scene and give it a soothing late afternoon affect.

Equipment

I shot this with my canon 6d and my tamron 70-200mm lens

Inspiration

I shot this of my grandson.. He and I are always are always envisioning our next photo shoot! He is a wondefuf and fun subject to shoot! He loves the camera as much as I do! We were on a mission to find a bait shop to get a goldfish! We finally found one open so we had to get a shot of it .. my grandson was in awe!

Editing

I shoot in raw so I did raw post processing. I Tweaked the lighting a tad, and cropped.

In my camera bag

My canon 6D, my tamron 70-200 mm lens ALWAYS, and my Sigma 50 mm art series lens.

Feedback

Envision in you it kind what you want to shoot and plan it out ahead of time. I always like to shoot in the afternoons as I love afternoon natural lighting. Find a willing subject, preferably a child, and make it fun, make it happen!
