Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my hometown of Brookhaven, Ms at the old railroad depot which is now a museum.

Time

My photo was taken around 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon. I did several shots this day in and around our little town.

Lighting

The day was bright but the area I was shooting in had plenty of cool shade which gave my photo a nice afternoon lighting affect.

Equipment

I captured this photo of my grandson, with my canon 6D and my 70-200 sigma lens. I love this lens!

Inspiration

I love to capture memories through photos of my grandson. He loves to be a part of this and does so very well at helping me capture just what I need to produce in photos of what I imagine in my head!

Editing

No post processing really.

In my camera bag

I carry my canon 6D, I still at times carry my canon rebel... for old times sake! I always have my 70-200mm lens and usually my 50mm lens as well.

Feedback

Practice makes perfect. We never learn enough when it comes to photography...it is a never ending learning curve for me. I’d say for me, the key is first to have a passion and an imagination of what you plan to capture... I love to make those imaginary thoughts become reality as it feeds my passion along this journey!
