Location
I took it in the central north Island. It's Ngauruhoe.Time
Can't rememberLighting
Just grabbed my camera and went click with total thoughtlessness about anything.Equipment
I think it might have been my big old canon DSLR.no flash, tripod, special lens or anything. If the photo is any good its all owing to luck. Not skill.Inspiration
The mountain itself inspired me to stop the car and take a pic. Also being a Tolkien fan I believed it to have played Mt Doom in the movie.Editing
Can't remember doing anthing special. Maybe I cropped it and brightened it a bit. I usually do a bit of that.In my camera bag
These days all I carry is my iphone 12 pro. I only use my big canon DSLR if I see something at home worth shooting. And it happens as we have beautiful sea views here.Feedback
My best advice is "get in the habit of photographing everything and delete nearly all of it later" Just keep the good ones. Sooner or later you'll luck out with a good shot.
