A running start precedes an early, successful attempt at flight by one of our pullets - in this case, an Ameraucana. The Black Austrolarp seems to be coaching here, or least looking interested. As a note, chickens are ungainly in the air, and don't travel very far from home coop -. I've made it a mission to capture them in flight - and it's a ongoing challenge!! - 9.10.2016
