I took this shot near downtown Raleigh, NC on July 4, 2015, as I awaited "The Works", Raleigh's annual Independence Day fireworks celebration. Though I normally shoot in color, I couldn't resist a black and white version of this scene, which to me, reminds me of animation from the 1930's & 1940's ....
